This is a MercadoPago Checkout implementation for VirtueMart and automatic currency exchange convertion at checkout time (needs optional currency exchange rate plugin installed, click here to view available plugins)
Currently MercadoPago Checkout supported countries:

Install Instructions:
1_ Make shure you have latest VirtueMart version
2_ Install it using joomla installer
3_Publish plugin in joomla plugin manager
4_Create and configure payment method in VirtueMart (Components->VirtueMart->Payment Methods->New)
5_Set Payment Name as you like
6_Set Published to Yes
7_Set Payment Method to VMPayment - Mercadopago Payment Plugin With IPN 2.0 And Checkout API
8_Click Apply
9_Click Configuration tab
10_Set configuration as you like
11_Get Client ID and Client Secret from mercadopago (Option 'Obtener mis credenciales').
IPN Instructions:
To be able to use the IPN functionality, first configure the payment method in VirtueMart, and the plugin will tell you the correct URL
How to install Joomla MercadoPago Payment For VirtueMart Extension
You can install Joomla MercadoPago Payment For VirtueMart Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla MercadoPago Payment For VirtueMart Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
